It operates over a stand-off distance of 1 m and readings can be taken through thick, translucent containers, closed plastic bags, fume cupboards and closed windows. It weighs 6 lbs and measures 11.5" × 10.5" × 5.5", and is battery operated with 2 h continuous measurement time.
