Rigaku Analytical Devices has enhanced its Progeny ResQ handheld chemical identification analyser with a new feature, 4C Technology, which indicates the overall threat level posed by the presence of multiple individual chemicals. Although individually the chemicals may not be a threat, their combined presence could indicate the presence of something worse. 4C Technology comes as standard with new instruments and can be downloaded for free to upgrade existing units.
