It incorporates a 50 W X-ray tube and latest generation silicon drift detector. A large sample chamber can accept irregularly shaped samples from 0.5 cm to 40 cm in length and up to 5 cm in height, or, with an optional sample chamber extension, up to 30 × 40 × 36 cm.
