Spectrolight believe that their TwinFilm technology to filter light according to wavelength will have a big impact on spectral imaging. TwinFilm offers an alternative to monochromators and AOTFs, with a range of custom wavelength selectors in three versions: automated, manual and fixed. Eight devices cover the 350–900 nm range, with a broadband version covering the whole NIR region in development. Spectral performance is uniform across 95% of the large (up to 10 mm diameter) clear aperture. Spectrolight can deliver custom wavelength selectors in 48 hours.
