SpectraPhysis has introduced the InSight DS+, a widely tunable ultrafast laser system. Power levels are >1.2 W at 900 nm, >1.0 W at 1000 nm and >0.7 W at 1200 nm, as well as continuous 680–1300 nm gap-free tuning. Pulse widths are <120 fs. A second synchronised beam at 1041 nm is available for advanced imaging techniques, including coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) and stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) imaging.
